Was dropping off the boat at J&J this morning and saw this bad boy over at Prime Marine.

We were in the slip next to it at D.S. Took me a minute to figure out what it was. Beautiful boat. I wonder how it runs?

I wonder how crazy expensive the props are for those surface drives.

Nice boat! For a second, I thought it was Fred Inman's Nordic. But his is white/orange and obviously has an IMCO logo on it.

He bought it after it sat a long time at nordic I believe it was used. My sources say the motors keep getting bigger and bigger. The goal was/is to be the fastest at desert storm at some point.
Motors are there, handling is not perfect yet. But it's close.
Huge huge HP

$5-7k each depending on which ones you get.

Its a copy of a Skater hull. There was some debate on the legality of Nordic using the Skater mold, but I think it all got worked out in the end.

Nordic pays a license fee when they spray a hull

Saw this things leave the No Wake zone from Thompsons Bay on Sunday and Probably went from 0-100 in like 10 seconds. I heard it from the other side of the Island. Must have been doing some test runs because a few minutes later he came back around heading south and then back up again. BAD ASS!!!

So is it a Skater hull? Which one? Does anybody really know what it is?

The boat is a Nordic. It is Tom from Pro Marines boat. Nordic used a skater bottom and their own styling to the top.

If this is a 34 which it looks like, it was a 32 Skater hull that nordic modified to include the swim platform and of course their own deck. The 43 I think is the 40 Skater hull. As Singleton said, they have a licensing agreement.
