My latest project. This idea started when I was building sand cars and class 1 cars, and we would show them at the Sand show, Extreme motorsports expo, and the Offroad expo. I thought , why not build a mini sandcar for a stroller? It will have suspension, working rack/pinion steering. You push it by the rear mounted steering wheel, connected to the rack. Where the motor would be, will hold a cooler and or diaper bag. Should weigh under 100lbs so it is practical. I should be done with it by the time I'm ready to use it later this year

The seat is one of the things that made me actually start this project. I got it from the one of the shops I worked for. Its a Beard race seat, scaled down for kids. Nice and comfy

I will post as I progress. I am going to powder coat it, and put my logo on the side panels, figured I might as well use it as a display for the company at shows

Get your logo made up in vinyl decals and you can embed them right into your powder coating. :D

Very cool project! Can't wait to see it finished.

And always be prepared to forget at least one thing. When moms around it rarely happen but during the father/daughter outings I always forget at least one damn thing.

BTW - badass stroller idea. If nothing else, it will make for a good wagon/neighborhood cruiser.

Love it when the big ass stollers show up at the sand show, and it gets parked in the middle of the aisle while mom check outs the latest in tank tops, or she runs the knobby tire up the back of your leg cuz she's had enough and wants out of the building:swear

Its definitely not getting built for a daily stroller. Mainly for shows, and for a side project for me to show in my booths at home shows to show my versatility. But damn its fun to build a car again!

We've only got one (10 weeks old today) and I'm pretty sure an excursion is the only thing that is big enough for all the baby stuff. We're trying to make due in a crew cab chevy 2500, and it will need a shell before any major road trips...

So now that the wife is pregnant, I need to get this thing going again. I need some wheels and tires. I'm thinking from a 50cc or mini atv. Also some smaller shock from like the same. Does anyone have any they want to get rid of cheap. Thank you very much in advance

I have the chassis done, seat is mounted and getting re-covered today, aluminum side panels next week, steering is done. I am waiting on shocks from Sig Ep Mock from his Rhino. as soon as I get those, I will do the shock mounts, and its off to powdercoat. Gloss black frame and panels, with candy apple red supension. I cant wait to start using this, and rolling it around with a For Sale sign:D

Thats the plan, just not sure where yet. Waiting on the shocks is killing me, I want to get the rear mounts built before I figure out where to put a cooler.

I got the aluminum side panels made this week. Now I need to mount them, and finish working them.

This thing just keeps getting cooler!

What do you plan on selling it for when it's finished?

Im thinking $1500. Ive seen similar "offroad style" wagons for $500 plus, so with the work that went into this, I dont think its too far fetched for such a novelty item
