Adapts your iPhone to be a hand held GPS.
Near actual size on the pic. About the size of my thumbnail.
Was $200 for a time but it's de-bugged and $99 on Amazon.
I was looking at the Garmin 700i for $700 and thought I'd give this a try first. We don't use GPS off road that much but sometimes it's essential for several reasons.
Amazing just plug and play into your iPhone. Download the free Bad Elf app, you're good to go. No subscriptions,, nothin'.
Jives with most off road and street and aviation GPS Apps as soon as you click on them.
Takes over with sat connection when you loose wifi or your cell service. Ya set the location first with Wi-Fi or Cell signal.
Worked great with Google maps and most other off road apps that we have.
Works just OK with onX trails App but for some odd reason my onX search is screwy. But that's onX, not the Bad Elf Lightning.
This guy 'splains it all:
