I'd like to see the SPD trucks come in 1, 2, 3....... But with Dale Ebberts driving with Robby, that's a tough combination to beat.

Did they finish the SPD toyota?
I'm not sure, was that for Chad Ragland? I haven't talked to the boys since the fires. I knew they were busy with some stuff, so I haven't bothered them.

Race seems to be a cluster fuck. Chase helicopter crash at Mike's Sky Ranch, 2 injured (Code Red), and someone has a stuck mic.

Looks like the SPD Toyota is broken at the 75 mile mark.

Yota is up and running again.

listening to the Weatherman too. No test time for that truck I think. Now they are talking about closing the road into Mikes to repair power cables. That should piss a whole bunch of racers off...

I could here Bob on my truck radio in san Diego today...

Closed the road, suposedly for only 30 minutes..... Yeah right, mexican minutes. BJ Baldwin in 2nd right behind Cadiente. RG losing ground do to darkness and not having light bar at the first pit. About 26 miles behind the leader with 15 or so miles to go to the next pit. Also heard there were some issues at RM 450, I guess the silt is real bad.

had some super nice chase trucks built down at SKG also. Nice team.

I guess I'm rooting for Robby. Check out the back fender... ;)

I'm only on his side, because Dale is getting ready to step in the truck. Only about 30 to 45 minutes before Dale starts driving. Bj is putting up a good show he has about a 4 mile lead on Cadiente at the moment.

BTW, wouldn't you consider that a competitor? He is spend their money they could be paying you.:D:D:D

Not looking good for RG, transmission problem at RM 496. They are trying to swap the trans, should be going again in 45 minutes.

Cadiente out front by 2 miles over Bj Baldwin, they have been swapping the lead back and forth at RM 580.

Rg back on the road. Cracked oil cooler, bypassed the cooler and added fluid. Will swap it out at the next pit stop.

Just got back to the computer, interesting changes through the night. Looks like we have Riviera Racing with 10 minute lead over Vildarosa RM 1110. Rg is still on the go and has passed 2 broken trucks, Bj Baldwin and Lucas and getting ready to pass another, Cadiente. There are a couple other trucks that are on the move in the same area, but it's hard to get a fix on their postion. One id Larry Ragland, another of the SPD trucks. Herbst truggy still movin' but sources say they are behind MarK McMillan for Class 1.

Here is how it stands with 75 miles till the finish:

Trophy Trucks: 1. Post, 1220; 2. Vildosola, 1208; 3. Ragland, 1170 (?); 4. ROBBY GORDON, 1096.

Vildosola has a flat and puuled into the Herbst pit to change it. Ragland more then likely won't be able to make up the ground before the checker, but it is desert racing, so who knows.

Overall:

1st Mark Post RM 1250
2nd Vidosola
3rd Larry Ragland
4th Mark Mcmillin?
5th Robby Gordon
6th Chris Lucas

I bet that was one of the more fun experiences you've had in awhile!

I had the time of my life. It was every thing I imagined and then some. Every thing seems like its in slow motion now that I am back home. I have never smoked crack but Imagine that it is no where near as addictive as this.
