Soooo, I am a little late in posting this up, but oh well! Did a Rzr ride from Tecate to San Felipe, for the Baja 500, last month in June. We had 4 Rzrs (2-1000 and 2-900) and 8 peeps travel close to 700 miles when it was all said and done. Spent a total of 4 days in Baja, having a great time with an awesome group of dudes.

Oh Sweet! That looks awesome! Brings back a lot of old memories....

We used to do that like 15 or 20 years ago, I used to take my 85 250r 3 wheeler on rides to mikes sky ranch and San Felipe way back in the late 80's early 90's. One trip my mom and dad dropped me and a buddy off along the highway in the dark and we drove to mikes for the 1st night and then Felipe the 2nd night! That some fun times. Cooking fresh shrimp on the beach with some cold beers and getting Tameles from the lady at Rubins campo with some Herdez salsa and a Coco-locos...

You never know whats going to happen in Mexico, one trip we spent Friday night at Rancho Veronica, unloaded bikes, think they were XR 600's and sleep in the bed of the truck type of deal and a guy one or 2 trucks over from us got his bike stolen. Some body just walked up and pushed his bike out of camp at like 2-3 am while we were snoring a few feet away, I'm talking just GONE! It's Pitch black at night, in the morning you could see the foot prints and the tire tracks from the bike..

One of the coolest things about Mexico is always the stories after you get back from your trip.

Thanks for posting your trip!

@DLC You are absolutely correct about stories being some of the coolest things about Mexico. The people you meet, in some of the most random obscure locations is what gets me. We were out in the middle of no where....hadn't seen a vehicle, a person or a house for hours. We stopped to replace a belt and some dude comes out of bushes on horseback to lend us a hand. So random!!!

Ya that's funny!

I have a similar story
On one trip we all stopped to open / close a gate and once we closed the gate these 2 guys ride up on horse back, at 1st were like oh shit! They are all decked out like there were cowboys with sombreros and six shooter pistols on there hip and a couple long guns strapped to the horses. This is like straight out of an old western movie. We started to talk to em passed out a couple beers to em and one thing leads into another well we got em to start shooting the emptys beer cans with there six shooters talk about target practice and having a blast so to speak...

I haven't been down to Mexico in about 8-10 years but alot of my friends still go, my buddy just joined the single trail m/c club out of Tecate, brain Fart.... los ancianos motorcycle club. There is some awesome trails and ridding down there. Not to mention the beautiful country

The "Elders" club...haha! For a group of what they coin as "old dudes" they sure can ride! We bumped into a few Los Ancianos members at Rancho Ojai outside of Tecate...they were doing a 120 mile single track loop up and around Laguna Hanson. Bitchen area to ride!
