Plowboys Bean Buddy starter / additive.
This stuff is excellent. $7 to $8 in BBQ sections here and there.

I drain the liquid from a 28 oz can of Bush's basic Pork n Beans, add the Bean Buddy starter, a cup of bacon bits and bake or smoke for an hour @300F.
Fantastic.
Sensational reaction from friends.
Has a tiny bit of heat.

Stater Bros sells BBQ with brisket at the deli counter now. It isn't cheap, but it is damn tasty. $7 or $8 a pound I think.
