BBC Brodix rectangle port heads

Selling for a customer! BBC Brodix 312cc Race Rite heads, heads were custom built by us with our Stainless valves and comp cams 953-16 springs for hyd roller cam upto .685 lift, they were only used for 1 trip at the end of last season! we built a new bigger engine for this year so used 335cc so heads are surplus hence great price of $1800 firm

These will be good on a 454-496ci engine!

How would they do on a 496 blower motor? Would they flow enough?

Yes these heads flow great out of the box but we can always port them if needed to improve flow! With boost its always going to make the power at the top end! But its about getting the air moving at low lift that will give you a earlier and bigger torque peak and x RPM will give you more through out the RPM...unported these heads on a 496 with a 8/71 and correct cam will easily make 850hp!!!

will these heads fit a mercruiser 496 motor and are they the same as a regular big block say 454

No Mercrusier 496 heads are Gen VII and totally different! These with fit MK4 and Gen V & VI engines
