Both of those turned out very nice!! I'd love to see the before (during if you have it) and afters!!

As well I'm interested in one kind of cabinets, and specifically the slat storage and why you chose them!

I'd love to redo my whole program this summer.

Here's a few before and after

Previous owner ran all of his electrical on outside of the walls. He had shop lights in there. I mean, it wasn't bad, all ran properly.
I just couldn't stand looking at the conduits, and walls that had holes here and there.

There's a bedroom right above the garage so there was very little room for attic space, so we ended up closing up the ceiling above the garage, adding much needed attic space.

We installed a new lift master garage door opener that attaches right to the spring above the garage door. So it looks a little less clutter.

Dropped 18 can lights, drywalled the whole garage, re-textured, painted. Then we did the epoxy floors.

We used a local cabinet company, they did a few of our friends houses so I gave them the business.

Here's a few in between and finished pics. Just waiting for our fridge.

Whole project took almost a month. Ordering cabinets, electrical stuff (pain in the butt)

Re-texturing, flooring etc.

Really happy with the end result. We also installed 2 attic accesses. So we don't have to crawl up there. (Great for wifeys seasonal decorations)

I would have never thought to put can lights in a garage... I really like the way that turned out to be honest.. I'm just wondering how much light they put out compared to shop lights?

I don't think you can have enough light in a work environment.. (granted I'm not sure how much work is actually being done in some of these masterpieces?)

I don't think the can lights put out as much lights as shop lights. I'm just weird and would like the garage to look good and I agree, the can lights to me look sharper.

As much as work goes around in our garage, does sweeping the floor and keeping the cabinets clean count as work? :)

Besides the average stuff, oil changes for the cars, doing house chores, I don't intend to do transmission rebuilds or replace head gaskets anytime soon. :)
