Mop&glo floor wax. Old skool Truckers use it, dirt doesn’t stick to it and it doesn’t sling.
I also used to use Pledge on tires and black plastic. It worked great back then.In my former career…lots of car prep companies (for commercials and other advertising) use Lemon Fresh Pledge furniture cleaner for tire dressing.
It’s not shiny.
No residue to fling off.
Repels dust.
Cheap.
The only downside is, it probably won’t help the rubber last longer/protect from UV.
I fell for the Duracoating sales pitch
Tons of cleaning. Cleaner the tires the better it comes out. Lasted all summer last year. Just did it again a month or so ago. I’ll be doing my trailer tires next season.any downsides to duracoat? I was about to buy it before I came across this thread.
