Better question does anyone have something sitting in a garage that does not have it listed for sale that would like it to have a new home?
I know Jack launch was selling his big fountain that he used for ski racing.. it was extremely well priced as well!
Not sure if it sold or not?
That boat is on my short list...
Only Rumors the right boat and drives for sure...That is one I did not find thanks.
You can bet the ranch if Jack owns it, it’s a 10/10.

I think the one you are talking about was just a race boat and has been outside for a few year...not my dealI think horizon has a 41 velocity with big power and sixes for decent price
...forgot to say ty for the post and I never know what I will jump on.I think the one you are talking about was just a race boat and has been outside for a few year...not my deal
Yes I do know that...I know you are on the fence about a Fountain, but you will be hard pressed to find a boat as meticulous as Jack's.
Theres a 42 (I think) Velocity here in OR with whippled 525s that I think would be sold.

Sounds to me like he knows about a boat that "would be sold" if the current owner was presented with the right opportunity.Again please ...why the fuck would I care about a boat that was sold...? This is why I have stayed away for RDP...Some are the best in the world and the rest make me scratch my head!
JFC you either need a drink, or you need two less. You asked in your second post in this thread if there were boats in garages that are for sale that aren't advertised. Thats what I'm telling you, theres a Velocity out here that would be sold if a buyer came along. Its not advertised, its not well known about, its just a boat, in a garage, that the owner would sell.Again please ...why the fuck would I care about a boat that was sold...? I took that the wrong way I am sorry...if they have #6 drives I am interested.JFC you either need a drink, or you need two less. No worries. Ill be over there this next week and take a look. Ive only seen the boat in the water twice, and haven't paid much attention to the drives. Ill ask him and report back. Cheers!I took that the wrong way I am sorry...if they have #6 drives I am interested.
Thanks. New company is taking off. I'll call you this week.Yes I do know that...
On a side note I hope all is well with the new business let me know if I can help.
Powerplay- Fastboats has a 38 with new power just redone look on OSO or fastboats.comAny boat manufacture I am missing that made a straight bottom in a big boat speed need to be 80+ size need to be 38' to 42'.
Does anyone know where the big molds ended up from magic?
Thanks for all the info. This is just what I needed.View attachment 610892 View attachment 610893 I would actually recommend searching for a #6 Cigarette Tiger. 42' of sickness. Couple I've had more than my share of time at the helm of. Things are just bad azz. Tim Mcray's and Kenny Boyce's Tigers.

As I have said before the red fountain is bad ass I am just not sure I want a fountain.
Cigarette Tiger is my next search.
Thanks again for the help.
Thanks for the head up I will take a look.
Only Rumors is a gamble buy. It's the only single stepped Apache in existence and the talk is, it doesn't handle that great. The market on Apache's is kinda slim right now and in my honest opinion, they're over priced.
I'm not really a Fountain guy but that red one is the nicest Fountain I think I've ever seen. So bad azz.
Not too many #6 Top Guns built -
Bill Proctor's Spider Boat
Ruckus (for sale right now)
Runnin' with the Devil
Primal Instinct
Superman Boat
Come Fly With Me (destroyed / part of the Card Shark ordeal)
2000 Cig was converted to a 525/bravo boat (no longer a 6 boat)
Old School II
Kangaroo rat
Purple green 6 man Bolster
94 with 700 Donovan's
90mph painted boat with 1000 Carolina's
Nasty Habit (converted to 6)
Locked and Loaded (stagger)
Ruckus is currently for sale and is (was) a bad bitch but looks like it's been sitting for a long time. Jeff Cheng (founder of OSO) built it and then sold it to a lady named Anna who didn't run it too much. It then went to Chicago where it's been sitting. I'd like to buy it and take it right to Barrett and have him go through the whole thing.

I really like this Gun too. #4's on boxes and N/A motors is a nice bullet-proof set up. I know the past owner, it's a sweet boat. Not 6's but SSM 3A's and 4's are just baby 6's.

May want to see if the new owner of Ron Songraths (James Safa bought it) Running with the Devil factory #6 Gun is available. It's in LOTO. Could probably track down the owner.
Some pics of Ruckus in better days and RWD

That is a shame I see what you are saying Tank.
I insure Jacks 42, I read the survey when I wrote the policy. The survey reads like a brand new boat, the boat had close to the asking price spent on it in the last couple of years. If I was buying a big V that would be my first call. I know Apache's are great rough water boats, Cigs are also fast, Outerlimits are fast and nice as well. But for what Jack wants that Fountain is absolutely the nicest boat in that price range you will find, with the best power. I wouldn't hesitate to get in that boat and run it any where.Clean as hell but I am not sure I want a fountain.
I think with your budget though, it may be worth it. In at 70-75k, get it back here and drop it off at a trusted shop like Barrett. Have him go through drives and motors etc. Elbow grease cleaning it up, Repaint hardware off back and step, color sand and polish glass, hopefully the interior is good and go run it!
You MAAAAAAAAY be able to pick up Hot for Teacher at 140k. TS #6 38 Cigarette (only 6 or so #6 TS Guns built). Bobby and Steve Burk (father and son) bought it from Tom Whitam last year. They went through the power, the drives, detailed every last aspect of it and it runs and shines like a brand new boat. Bobby and Steve sell Mercedes so EVERYTHING is for sale.

Hot for Teacher will be for sale in the spring. I talked to steve, he had an interest in my 650. I think he was around $175k, but I’ve heard it’s immaculate. Legendary boat
