We already have it documented that these tech companies are effectively acting as an arm of the .gov, and are monitoring all communications for “disinformation”.

If you think your Alexa or Google device isn’t listening 24/7, you’re mistaken.
They were doing this even before the .gov contracts.

If you think this issue is limited to Apple, you’re also mistaken.

They have probably already been doing that. They likely wont scan your phone directly, but will scan your icloud account, messages and backups. I would try to back up and store all your data locally. I've never used any cloud to backup my phone, pictures or data.

Your Google Android option is not much better.

It will be interesting to see how many people actually put their money where their mouth is and ditch these tracking and spying devices for "Freedom phones"
