Was out watching the flashes and could hear the thunder in Capo Beach. Radar says it will be here in a few hours

My shop doors face due west and I thought I was seeing things, finally realized it was actually lightening to the west of me which is rare indeed. Putting on a good show for sure.

Lol, it started dumping rain at the end of the Kiss concert in Irvine. Lightning strikes all over, ironically they started about the time Gene started singing God of Thunder .

Poured rain here, lightning and thunder right over head. I had to open the pool cover. Went to our friends' house (they are out of town) and closed their skylights.. and cleaned up the water off their wood floors!

Yesterday around 3:30 my husband was heading east on the 10 going to Yucaipa a massive storm blew through, pouring rain, lightning was hitting the ground & caused a fire on hill next to the freeway. He didn’t mind admitting he was scared
