Can you lift the trailer fenders relatively easy to put bigger wheels and tires on the trailer? I’d like to go from the 215/75-14 26.7” O.D. I have to 225/75/15 28.3” OD

Its hard to tell from the pic but looks like you have enough room. Your only looking at a total of 3/4” more diameter between the fender and tire. If you need more you can do a taller equalizer or move fhe holes a bit up on the fenders to gain the clearance. Id measure the gap you have now and add the 3/4” and see where it puts you.

Yeah, it’s hard to say, I was able to zoom in on this picture which is only a little better. I’ll look into a different equalizer too to get just a little more clearance.

Remember every extra inch of tire is only a 1/2” closet to the fenders, i went up 1.5 on my tires last time and they looked close before, now they look perfect and don’t rub etc.

That looks nice. What wheel is that and what wheel and tire size are you running?
This was still saved in my browser. Great website for tire picking.

It looks good as long as the tires fit inside the fender lip. You are only looking at 3/4” higher on the tire towards the fender. Id do the taller tires and run with it. If you need a 1/2” or something later go with an equalizer or move fenders but i don't see where that would be a problem.

So just as comparison, mine on my trailer vs yours on yours, understand that the overall height is less than 3/4” more than what you have, and well your tape measure shows you have inches to spare without any alterations to the trailer.

Before and after pics of raising fender (Not showing new wheels and larger tires.)
I went up 1 1/2" on the fender. Have a deck boat so had to raise the bunks which were going bad anyways (new doubled up bunks)
The rise of the boat on the trailer did not affect launch and retrieval and now I can actually buy tires that are available.
Since your boat does not sit on the fenders, I would raise the fender. Rubs are not that cool.
