Some of you may have caught this on CNBC today...

I'm not an economist or an infectious disease specialist, so I don't have an opinion on his opinion...but it is something to think about.

The interview starts off sounding like its going very negative, but if you stick with it offers hope and a possible solution to the problem. In fact, Ackman states he is a net buyer of stocks in this market, and believes we will get through this if we act fast.

Worth a listen if you have the time, particularly on the business side of the topics (his area of expertise) as opposed to the medical side.

• For those that don't know Ackman, he's a somewhat controversial figure in the financial world. Believe him or don't.
• Like him or hate him, he has had made billions by analyzing trends and looking at the big picture.
• He may have an ulterior motives (financial)...but his position on boards limits what he can stay publicly, and the is the first time he's posted on twitter for 2 years.
• In the end his plan is basically what every country that has beat the virus has done so far. (i.e. China, Singapore, Hong Kong),...but what most of us had hoped to avoid here.

He can't say it, but he's really taking no risk buying now.

He knows at some point we'll sacrifice the vulnerable for the economy (thus saving more lives).
