The swim steps on my Ultra are looking pretty tarnished and in need of a refinish. Has anyone ever had this done or has done it themselves? Swim step 1.jpg Swimstep mount.jpg

You can clean them up on your own, but you will get far better results if you take them to a professional. Where are you located? What type of finish are you looking for?

Truck stop, the guy in the back that polishes on the semi trucks, will do it for pennies and will look better than new.

I'm in SW Colorado.
I scrubbed like hell yesterday with a scotch brite pad and CLR with soap. I want them to look original since the vents, grab handle would also need to be changed and they look fine.
I like the idea of calling Eddie.
Thanks

That's what I was thinking. I'm gonna give Eddies Marine a call and see what they charge to make em look new again.
