Let's see if we can get a little V-drive love in here. I reserved a cabin a couple of months back and brought out the family. My boat is far from complete, but doesn't mean I couldn't come out and enjoy the show.







The two Wickens pictured were my favorite, but I'm biased towards the Aquacraft and Wickens brand. I wanted to talk with the owners but didn't know who they were.

This was SUCH BULLSHIT!!!! LOL The kids were awesome and had a blast. But I did come out one time to find them all on their phones. I had to yell "get off the damn phones, you're at the river!!"

My take on the show.....

1. Awesome boats and thanks to all the owners for coming out and sharing their equipment for everyone to see and appreciate.
2. The Billy B shows (February at Jack Smith and September at Pirates) continue to grow and seem to have a very faithfull following. Me included. :thumbup:
3. I blew all my boat money on the cabin so now I can't get the Billy B paint job I want. Home Depot Krylon it is.
4. I blew all my boat money on the cabin so now it's gonna be another 5 years until it's done.
5. I blew all my boat money on the cabin, I'm looking for the 2.99 cases of beer.
6. Did I mention the cabins were a little pricey?

But seriously, the wifey and I decided that we'll get a cabin again, next year for the show. Just need to start saving now.

I grew up in a flat bottom family. My father had a lot of them. But his favorite was a Hallet Marathon Hull. He would have loved being there. Nice pics!

Greg, the two favorite boats mentioned are owned by (blue one) friend of TBI here on the boards and the orange/white woody is Rattle Can Lou's brother, Pat Minegar (V-drive forever) on both boards.

There was definitely a lot of boats on the water. A lot of fun for sure with you guys! Cant wait for next year and glad to hear you and Mariam are already discussing it... Cant wait to see that wickens complete.
