Seen that this weekend, we just drove a bit past those signs and there were no more signs.
Thinking maybe they put those signs at the areas closest to the homes up there to maybe move the shooters further away from the homes?

Hope it's not because they want to put a stupid fucking road in from the Foothills.
I've noticed many of these signs have been renewed in the past year or 2. First noticed it at the end of my street last year.

Those signs are all over the land outside Phoenix as well. Target shooting has always been prohibited on state trust land, they just didn’t start enforcing it until recently. Also have to get the permit online to enter, which is easy to get. Without it you can be cited and even arrested for criminal trespassing. For target shooting, make sure you’re on BLM land

Appears that the AZ Trust Land off Bison extends approx about 1.5 Miles from where you enter it, until you pass through into BLM land.

That’s what I thought too . Those signs at the end of Paso De Oro have been there for years .

The Explore Act requires federal agencies to provide shooting areas. It passed late last year.

I dropped out of school and I never graduated and I also have dyslexia to top it off so I don't know what that sign says that's why I use speak to text for everything that I post. Heck half the time I see something I don't even know what it really is!

On Saturday morning we went up Bison to Paso de Oro and down the dirt road to the usual spot we've shooting at for years and no signs...

No shit my buddy got a criminal trespass charge on state trust land and used this as an excuse. Said he couldn’t understand the sign. Court made him take a class for retards and he got the charge dropped

YOU might be responsible enough to clean up. But clearly most are not.

The area is growing up there, Housing is pushing out to the North and East. Those that go to the spot that they have for years are now shooting at backyards. Its unfortunate that many don't understand that. For those that cant read or choose to ignore the posted signs , don't play victim if you receive return fire.
Continue up the road and to the North and face East and that is legal. Facing to the south off the "Usual" spot is now shooting into a residential area. And the next argument about people bought a house in front of my shooting range is not gonna work out real well either, just go up the wash farther and have at it...

No signs needed if your on State Trust land, it's merely a courtesy.

Areas I went to this happened. Of course the official public excuse had to do with something else. But the pigs got it closed.

IMO you can take the crap there you can take it back. Don’t think your being nice leaving targets for next guy.

I like steel and that’s what I take to shoot. Also reload so brass goes too. Why people find a good spot and never share I don’t blame them.

I've got a small ranch north of Williams.
400 ft of fence line with AZ State Trust Land. A square mile south of me. I looked it up.
If anyone is in there, their likely trespassing. No doubt in a vehicle.
There's more to it than that, but I don't shoot or Jeep that way.
Good news is it's not likely going to be developed in my lifetime.

If you look at the map posted above that area is not in the State Trust land boundry.

I remember when they put those same signs up down at body Beach everybody panicked. Look at it now nothing has changed. LOL but if I get cited for a ticket this is about the only one that won't bother me very much!

Signs have been up for about 6 weeks. I ride my mtb up there most every morning. The trash and shit I see from the nights activities is outrageou. That being said, it took 3 days before the 1st bullet holes in the signs, lol. If you’re heading up they are on the right. If you shot over those hills, you have a chance of hitting the new houses over on cherry tree. They are just pads right now, but will be houses soon. There was a jacuzzi drop-off up there about 2 weeks ago, bit by bit it’s been shot to shit. Last night, somebody burned it to the ground. The toxic smoke must have been nice.
