I've seen a couple of those boats running a Lycoming IO-720. It's a 400 HP air cooled injected flat eight.

They're a blast! Most guys used to run SBC and BBC until the LS series of motors came out. Some have switched over while others have stayed true to the origins.

We always referred to sailbotes as "Blow boats." Air boats were simply called.......air boats.
