Bluewater Casino/Parker AZ/Boat races

We had a nice weekend watched the boat parade and annual boat races. Jonathan, my Nephew got to meet the winner of the boat races, in Parker with his step-sister Julie, they were treated like little V.I.P.'s and was invited to be in the pits with him in April, got to get in the boat AND the trailer, the guy was awesome and so nice, see the pictures to follow. He even gave Jonathan his card and told Jonathan to make sure he calls him, made Jonathan promise not to "let him down". Jonathan has Autism but he was really interested, it was the first time my sister in law Cathie has seen him engage and really be interested and even asked questions, like "You wont get me wet in the boat right?" and also asked him for "his own card, because he said, "I have my own wallet". it was so cool. The trailer was huge and they are going out to this weekend to see if they can get the world record of speed. This weekend they went 104 mph, IN A BOAT.. totally crazy!!
Oh another side note. Hung out a little with the FAMOUS RD... Real nice guy ... also met his fiancé.

That is the great thing about this level of motorsports, the appreciate every fan and seem to try and make time to talk with them and connect. Its always good to see and hear about these times. :thumbsup

Any more pics of the boats or races from this weekend, I wish I could have been there. I think the first pic posted that is Pat Hoban, he owns a GN boat UnderPressure (its pink and black) and he does support for the crackerbox you have in the picture. This is the same Crackerbox that tossed the driver and co/driver at Long Beach 2 years ago breaking on of their arms if I am right. No one was seriously hurt so its still good times. :skull
