You can light up a cigarette, order a glass of whiskey and gamble away your entire life savings at their casino but god forbid you launch your pontoon boat and take your grandkids fishing....

there are a couple public ramps before sundance. Pirates has one that is pretty good.
Did they fix the south side of the ramp? Used to have a huge drop off where the concrete ended in the water. Watched a guy destroy his trailer trying to yank it out. Had to help him lift the thing out of the hole before he could tow it up the ramp

The Indians are just colleting $$$ from the gov in lieu of hiring employees back and running their business properly.

If you are Staying at Sundance RV park on the Cali side, there is BLM Rock House Launch Ramp.

I was at the Rock House ramp last year and a brand new 2500 Denali truck (4x4) was stuck on the ramp because the trailer was caught on the concrete.... instead of lifting up the trailer, their buddy with a dodge 3500 chained up to the tow hooks of the Denali, both trucks giving it full beans and then there was a HUGE BANG..... any guesses what broke?

You can't smoke in the casino anymore, their supposedly opening the marina on Father's day. The casino is open 24hours again, but they only have 25% of the rooms open.

WTF were they launching?

I’ve launched a Magic deck there without issue.

It was only probably a 24’ boat but they just went way too deep with the trailer for whatever reason. It was around noon, we were just getting off the water so the bloody Mary’s might have been mixed a little too stiff.

It’s not fixed. You have to stay to the far north side of the ramp and depending on the trailer length, it will still fall off.

Public launch at Cienega Springs
We were staying at the keys 3 weeks ago and use this ramp because the ramps in the keys are dicey.

Busiest I had ever seen it, with a line, and the dirt lot across was full. A lot of pressure on that ramp with the Blue Water acting like their launch ramp will give you covid.

But come on in and gamble away. They just don't want to pay employees to manage the marina. They had their CRIT Police trucks physically parked blocking the ramp.

Wow! I don't mind using Patria Flats either. It's a little steep but I've never had an issue. Has a handy little loading dock and the parking lot is huge

Went in casino 2 weeks ago, they are sticking to a very strict mask policy, checking everyone's temp going through the door. Limited seating at restaurants, willow booked, hour wait at other joint and food wasn't too good. Prime rib was so so.

Obviously Covid won’t get you while gambling but will get you launching your boat. Fauci will back them up on this.

The ramp next to the sheriff's station is public and well maintained. Probably the safest place to park your vehicle all day too. If you come off the water buzzed... maybe not.

You can easily see the end of the ramp from the dock the water is so clear these days.

That said Rock House is full of rocks, barbed wire, and Hippies looking for handouts...and it's closed. ;) :D
They have also painted a red line on the dock at the end of the concrete.
I’ve seen the same guy and rig go off the end twice...

Good mention. I had forgot about this being done. The deepest part of that small channel is right there at the drive on prop wash area.
At the end of the docks its back to 3 1/2' deep.

We keep our stuff in a couple Rio Storage units so Rock House is our home turf. I WILL NOT use the ramp in Emerald where we stay.

I have launched a 28' Cobalt with a big time draft and still not come close to the end.

Perhaps some of the big cats need more depth since they are highly placed on the trailer.

Launched a few weeks ago at pirates and the end of that ramp has broken up too. Used to be a nice ramp.
