I know its been talked about before but I cant find what I'm looking for in the searches I've done here...

Does anybody have any idea what it would cost to have a boat either towed or put on a flat bed (boat & trailer) and delivered some place?

Of course I know it depends on milage etc - I'm just looking for a round number like - its $1 a mile or something like that???

I looked at uship and started to fill out a request for quote but I have to create an account etc etc etc- I just need a quick number to decide if I even want to go that far and deal with actually talking to someone to get a bid.

Thx

Last year the number I was hearing was $2 per mile but I’m sure with the Inflated fuel prices since January that $3 is probably a more realistic approx rate. Like others said call Outlaw. I’m sure there is a lot of variables in pricing?

Thanks all, based on the rough numbers I’m hearing and a message I got - I got what I needed.

I was also curious to see the to and from destination, not at all interested in the cost...

I’m heading to upper lake Saranac in upstate New York. It’s a place we go every few summers and I always wanted to bring my boat. I’ve been talking about towing it this year but some things are coming up that are starting to look like they are going to keep me from taking a month or so to piddle around and hit a bunch of lakes this summer.

So my thought was possibly getting the boat there then renting a truck to pull it back??
