Yep, even before next year. I’m in the process of closing on an older boat now. Could not find reasonable insurance without a Survey. Futher, it makes sense regardless.

I can see 26' and under boats buying may have an uptick. My boat is 25'7 .
In Canada, most boats are insured with policy carriers using underwriters like LLoyds

Thankfully the 26 is coming up on 10 years next year but is under the limit and the 30 still has several more years to go before it sees 10 and we have to go through that.
