Credit unions are usually pretty good if you buy a newer boat.

Northrop Grumman Federal credit union for example

I had a smooth transaction with Essex a couple years back. They also had the best rates at that time.

Americas first credit union will lend on boats that are older if you are looking for something older

In my extensive research of this I have found the following to be the best for boat loans based on rates, length of term and downpayment requirements.

LBS Credit Union
America First CU
Bank Of The West

What i havent been able to find is a loan on boats that are over ten years old that have high horsepower or do over a hundred. Like early 2000 skaters , nortech, even cigarettes. Etc.

Anybody ever use Navy Federal or USAA?
Navy Federal rates aren’t competitive unfortunately, like 9.2% on used boats.

USAA rates are good, but I hate dealing with them. They’ll “approve” you for anything, then deny or change the terms once they actually know what they’re financing.
