I got a buddy that is a infrequent lurker on here that is restoring a 24xs spectra. He needs someone to completely rewire it. The boat is in SoCal. Any ideas?

I'll be watching this thread. I'm a fairly talented mechanic, machinist/fabricator but when it comes to wiring I struggle. Oh everything always ends up working the way it should but it usually looks like a bowl of spaghetti.

John, BDR in Santa Ana I believe? Wires a lot of off road racers cars/trucks. Not sure about boats? I can get his number and text it to you if you want to give him a shot?

If I had more time right now I'd do it. I enjoy wiring. I'd be happy to help if he decides to tackle it on his own...it's pretty easy if you have the right stuff.

They are pretty basic usually. I rewired mine years ago. I am pretty busy but can give some advice if needed. I have everything you would need to do it. Wire, weatherpacks. circuit breakers and relays.

He can order a generic loom online and have it delivered. Should be fairly easy to complete the install if he has a little patience.

My wife completely re wired our 24 spectra. Put a whole new electrical system in it. Wasn’t that big of a deal with the interior out.

Thanks Rick. I’m sure my buddy is following along, he too shy to post anything, or respond.

What type of work does he want done? I know a wiring guy that does all the high-end drag-boats and his quality of work is second to none but his price reflects that. His shop is located in San Clemente.

PM me if interested.

Kyle and Cole @W.O.T MARINE do amazing work. Level to detail is number one. Not sure how busy they are but worth a call!
