Yes I feel Preston and group will stand behind the sale.Difference between dealing with a guy like Preston and other outfits is Preston will 100% make this right.
The true testament to a company isn’t when things are peachy and going 100% right. The testament to a company is when things go wrong and how they handle it.
I agree!!!!!Even the best fall down sometimes.
Sad to see this.
I know it gets old, but I can't express the need for proper fire suppression enough.
It has saved my life and possibly others.
Please, Take the time.
In today's market it will still sell as is for 50K.
Damn I feel bad for the owner, and the seller. Glad nobody (reportedly) got hurt. I drooled over the ad for that boat. High on my list of "almost attainable baller" boats.
Another thing is the gasket around the fuel sender.
Agreed! My last jet boat I inspected all fuel devices, antisipons were clean and operating correctly, I found an undersized barb fitting for the fuel line, replaced it with the correct size, fill tubes cracked and replaced those. Good for peace of mind knowing you personally inspected your fuel system. But i admit that was after taking the boat out on a few runs. And don't remove the antisiphon valves!!!! In fact, when they are accessible, pull the fitting and make sure the check ball didn't get some crap behind it. Otherwise, you will just be fueling the fire.

What If I have a better 28 Deck option for $105k?That’s EXACTLY where I was! I’d looked at the listing on the Horizon website at least once or twice a week for months. Just discussed it with my brother in law last week. Crazy.

Not to poke fun at a shitty situation... but this does mean theres a perfect new trailer sitting in the parking lot that no one needs anymore. Could probably toss an offer...
