Grew up going to Parker & Blythe with the parents, then as I got older and started my own program it was Lake Mohave during the day, casinos by night and continued doing this through the late 80 & 90's until mid 2003 when a friend suggested going to Lake Havasu. WE made reservations to stay at the Islander over 4th of July and the Temp was crazy hot. So hot that I had said "screw Havasu, I'm never coming back here". Haven't been back to Mohave since with the exception of one damn run. Now that I'm getting older and the kids are out of the house I wouldn't mind trying some different boating.
Two for sure I want to go boating on is:

Tahoe& Powell
I would love to attend LOTO in the next couple of years, just not sure as a spectator with my boat or rent one?
So whats on your Bucket List? What would you suggest to someone looking for some good boating? Show pictures if you got them

Don't wait for an reason to go to Powell. Just go and don't make excuses preventing you from going.

My bucket list would be a downhill run from Dana Point to Cabo San Lucas on a 42' to 58' Bertram, Hatteras, or Viking going that whopping speed of 8 knots. I was to young in 2002 when my dad, brother, and fishing buddies took his 42 Bertram to Cabo. The pictures they took of the scenery was just beautiful. They were also reeling in 250lb+ tuna.

We’ve done quite a bit of boating from Mead to Blythe. We ended up setting up in Havasu so it’s tough to break the cycle.
I’d love to do a BVI , LOTO, Naci and the Delta. trip to see what it’s about. Would love to go back to Powell to see more of it.

We have boated everywhere ... except Powell ... I have great respect for the water conditions on Mead ... so I would expect the same or worse on Powell.
It would cool if there was a planned trip from RDP to Powell especially for 1st timers ... I see all the beautiful pictures of people's trips to Powell ... that "is" my bucket list but I wanna go with peeps that have it down and know where to go. Nothing like going with a seasoned pro.

Powell houseboat with my family is on the bucket list. I've done Shasta and my parents have done McClure, but we've never done one together. I think it would be an epic week.

Done Parker, Havasu, Mojave to Hoover, coastal Barcelona, coastal boating and all the local lakes in California....Motor'd and sailed BVI three times and hope a 4th in Feb

Want to do:
Keys to Key West
Powell
Take a sit down ski from Havasu Springs to Laughlin for a overnighter
Mead up into the Grand Canyon..

BVI is by far the best boating place in the world...The Med is nice as well.

I don’t know how to beat bareboat BVI. Easy to get there and run the boats, great diving, beautiful place, fairly safe. You feel like you are yachting the wide open ocean but have the luxury of a safe harbor each night, most with amenities.

We were considering bareboating Tonga, but Marinemax pulled out

After the bucket lists above I would hit lake Michigan during the summer. It is one of the "Great lakes". Ozarks is an OK party scene but I would be just as happy on Table Rock or Beaver just a few miles south. Way more Laid Back.
