Boating Lake Pleasant, Mohave and Mead

Well in the last month we’ve been on Lake Pleasant, Lake Mead and Lake Mohave. Thought I’d share some pics.

BTW, the all canvas Bimini does not work at all at any speed so it’s back to in stitches to have all the gray switched out for gray mesh as neither their purple or blush mesh match at all. They’re also replacing the front bow as it bent in 3 places at 40MPH.

Looks great! I almost bought that boat a couple of years ago. I'm glad you ended up with it. It's a beautiful boat and the work and upgrades you put in are top notch.
Curious what speed or performance differences you've seen before and after your upgrades......?

Thank you! Really glad I ended up with it too. To answer your question, I only ran the boat twice before doing all the engine and drive upgrades and I took it easy both times so I can’t give a fare comparison. I’ve had it to 102 with these stock 32s but I wasn’t in it long, water was choppy, and didn’t have a chance to test trim. At the time I had a half tank and two 270lb guys in the boat. At some point I’ll get to mess with the 35s, low fuel, cool day and the trim to see what she’ll do. For now she’ll accelerate from any speed as fast as you’ld want but I drive like an old man to conserve what I’ve got. Anything that brakes is expensive and I like boating not fixing.

Thank you and yes, as a first time Dad, I can't compare but everyone we know has told us he's the happiest and chillest baby they've met. I'm a lucky guy.

Nice! Mesh really helps. You can also have at least the front hoop on the Bimini made of thick wall tubing instead of the standard.
