Favorite was the Kachina Shadow. Rode like a tank. It was slow but fast enough to get out of the way.

1959 Cherokee Runabout, 75 hp Envinrude (ran it to death in the Mississippi River back in the 80's). Metal hull, couldn't hurt it.
'91 Kawasaki 750 X-2 Jetskis (one for me & the wife until kids came along)
'97 Ultra LX, 21 ft
'02 Utra Stealth, 21 ft

I loved the Ultras. Perfect boats and John West & Mike Harlan always took care of me.

1998 21’ Omega (can’t find a pic)
1999 23’ Essex
2003 28’ Nordic
2007 28’ Conquest

They were all my favorites at the time for different reasons. I’m really enjoying the deckboat now.

1992 Godfrey Pontoon
2005 Conquest Top Cat II, 496 HO
2007 DCB F32, Teague 1200’s/6’s
2011 M35, Merc 1350’s

The boat that I got the most action on was the Pontoon. It saw more ass than a toilet seat.
The Conquest was a great and bulletproof all around boat. A great progression but I got passed like I was standing still one day by a F32 on lake pleasant and decided I needed one of those.
So the F32 was my first step into high performance and was a shit ton of fun. Great power and handling boat. It is probably the favorite boat that I’ve operated and driven.
The M35 was pure performance and sexiness. I absolutely loved that boat but worried more about it than any boat I’ve owned before. Kinda like having a super hot girlfriend. Gotta take the good with the bad.

I am currently boatless. There are the days in which I do get the itch. Someday soon I will get the next project started.

The M35 is one of my all time favorites. Definitely a dream boat. The maintaince schedule and up keep would be brutal though.

You have no idea! :(
I added it all up one day and divided by the hours and it was breathtaking.

Back in the 1990’s 2000’s I helped Sleekcraft and Magic sell boats into New Mexico. I think we did a pretty good job.
The Kurtis runner bottom was the best for a rush and the Sleekcraft 34 was the best for friends and family. The Conquest is really the best overall.

We made this same mistake a year or so ago. When you truly add in everything it takes to run our boats it can be breathtaking as you mentioned.

1978 26' Hawaiian POS jet boat
1974 19' Schiada V-Drive
1978 20' TT Schiada V-Drive (Robert Henslers race boat from arrowhead)
1979 21' Schiada RC V-Drive
1976 21' TT Schiada RC V-Drive (Norm Wilsons race boat Karon)

1979? 20' Schiada V-Drive (Spanjjan GN 28)
1976 22' Schiada V-Drive
1979 24' Spectra XS V-Drive (current cruiser)

The Malibu by far has been the best boat for the family we bought it new and still ski behind it as much as we can the Spectra is the most comfortable to cruise around in but the favorite boat was the twin turbo 20' I wish I never sold that boat.

Had more fun on this boat in one single day than I've ever had. Paid $250 for it. Best boating day ever!

Turn up the sound, it was a beast.
