There’s a “toys for tots” run this weekend that’s based out of Palatka. Sponsored by Velocity and Mystic.

Guy by the name of Russ Matos started it years ago, and he passed away 2 years ago, his son has carried on the tradition, with some help from Scott McCormick from velocity have grown it quite a bit.


Looks like the weather will cooperate quite nicely for the weekend.

The group saw record attendance last year, partly because of lots of folks coming down from lakes that had their poker runs cancelled. I’m pretty sure I talked with folks from Lake Norman, and Lanier. From what I’ve read, the numbers are bigger than last year, which is cool. It’s a great cause.
