Planning on heading up that way in June. Any good areas? Thinks to consider? We will be with my buddy and his class A. Looks like there are several fire roads to pull off the 64.

Would love the boondock at the Grand Canyon I have a been there once since I'm from the East Coast. Would be silly right now with gas at $5 a gallon and we only get 10 miles to a gallon. When I was there last about 30 years ago We Hike down in than 50 miles down the river and then back out. I think we stayed at campgrounds down in 3 nights. Caught some really nice fish in the tributaries to the river too.

We ended up going with plan B and stayed at Willow Beach. Nice campground and facilities. Kayaked and paddleboarded both up north and south. Highly recommend
