Are those Spikes easy to put in the Ground?
I have always just used a Pet stake, has worked good for 30 years.
And they are Cheap 4-7 bucks
Just wondering

Yore joking..right...?
No Joke, I have never been on the Colorado River, only Northern Californy Lakes, I do cruise the Sac Delta river but always use a dock not a Beach. I have no need for one of those Spikes. Like I said a pet Stake works just fine where I go.

I never received an answer to question :Are those Spikes easy to put in the Ground?
The spike and anchor was in a boat I bought.
As for the box anchor never used too

much fumbling around to use for me. I prefer a rubber coated Danforth in case in touches the boat paint/gel when handling.
Never tried the spike I’ve been using the long pet auger also for decades with no complaints.
That’s my 2 cents but I’m old school purchasing my first v-drive in 1973.

I’ll answer.
Yes. Extremely easy to use. Spike is angled in heavy duty steel and can be used in soft sand to rocky beaches. The handle slides up and down creating a hammer to pound the spike in. D ring at top of spike to attach a line too and another at the top of the hammer for a buoy.
Honestly it takes less than 10 seconds to set front spike when tying up and you don’t have to go back and check to see if it moved throughout the day.
Don’t settle for the knockoffs either. Spikes are either not long enough or strong enough.
I run a spike with Top Knot line and Danik hook. Nothing to tie off. Pound spike in, clip line to bow, adjust slack with danik hook.
Everything else is rookie shit.

Just busting ur balls.. yeah in havasu or parker a pet spike would never fly. A spike is the only way to go. Super easy to pound in and be done.
