My boys still have a long way to go and I have a lot more work to do with them. My youngest tapped on me and asked if he could weld up a target for their air soft guns. It was a good day.

This is great, Good job with your kids. You guys remember Wood Shop, Auto Shop, Metal Shop, I learned to solder ( I sucked) and wield (I sucked) and then...wood shop, I loved, and still do, working with wood. These skills are what built America and helps us win wars. Computers are nice but these hands on skills are priceless. Great bonding with your kids as well (boys or girls)

Enjoy it , as time flies . Taking the time to work with them, and pass on basic skills you can use to put food on the table if needed is priceless-

When I learned how to use a skill saw all the blade guards were gone or pinned up... back in the day as they say!

keep the nose down and after the cut turn saw blade away from you. Top handle towards your body, finger off the trigger unless your ready to cut.

it’s funny but most people don’t know shit about home fixes/ Maintainance or any type of home improvements. The service industry is going to be very important in 10 years if we stay on this path
