Looking for a bone stock Mercury Bravo 1 30p right hand propellor. Anyone have one to sell? Or even lease for a weekend so i can test it? All over the limiter with my 28, and full of fuel so need to find a 30.
thanks.

I think i run a 30 with my Teague motor now, if i run my 32 I’ll let you try the 30 👍 I don’t think I hit the limiter with my 30

Yea i doubt i could hit the limiter, with a 30, but was all over the limiter at 5400, 82.5 mph and 89 gallons showing in the VesselView. So a 30 may just be a little fun for a run or two.

Mr Peter... A boat that can pull a stock 30p prop should be able to pull a labbed 32p. At least that is the general rule of thumb TCM uses when picking a prop. ;)🤪😁

Are you friends with John Green? Could you give it to him when he comes out next month?

I have a stock Hill SL Four 30P you can try if you’d like. I would like to try a 28P for a quick run and see how it likes it too if possible.

I ran a 30 yesterday, where are you located or where do you typically hang out on the water? I always have a spare wheel in the boat, so I’d be willing to allow you to test the 28 no problem if we can work it out.

How did that 30 work out for you? I know your boat is def lighter than my Shockwave 26’.

I USUALLY would be all around the island since I had a spot in CrazyHorse but not sure as I don’t have my spot this summer. I run between 3 dunes and the Gorge for the most part. I’ll PM you when I’ll be out that way to see if it works out. Thanks for the offer.

Already getting too warm to spin that 30. Got 83 but at only 5050rpm slow as grandma to plane tho. What power do you have?

600SCi stage 3. YUGE open bow and big stereo. I have this 30 Hill (they said stock when I stopped by) and a “29” cutting edge. I put the 29 in quotes because I can plane as if I was in my old 22 Stoker with a 300 outboard although I choose to save my drive and not do that lol. If they were both true, there shouldn’t be much RPM difference. The “29” I can max out 5,850 roughly 77 MPH with myself or 10 people on board instantly, literally no difference. The 30, I’m seeing 5,200-5,300 at like 80 MPH but lugs and creates sut like crazy. I think this “29” is more like a 27 so I’ll be taking it to get a pitch tool on it to see where I need to go. Best I’ve seen was about high 80’s around 5,500 April/May in perfect conditions.

I think a Stock Bravo 28 will be a good baseline. I inherited these props I have with the purchase and don’t know if work has been done to them.

Truth be told, I need seat time. Most of the time it’s the whole family and I’m just cruising.
