Talked my Brother In Law into a 200, first time on it had my little Sister on the back, we didn't make it out of site of the truck before she put her foot down, clean break.

I had a 83 or 84 200x it had the black seat cover, I put a Kirker pipe on it and rode the living crap out of it! my buddy had a 83 185s

we sold em and bought a 85 250r‘s when they came out

the one you just bought looks cherry! What a great find!

Great thread brings back lots of memories! I grew up riding Pismo Beach and ATC`s !

And ATC guys were proud to be on 3 wheels and it took some talent to ride unlike the 4 wheel quad gods! My grandma could ride one of those!

I learned how to ride dirt on my uncles '83 185s, he bought it new in '83 and still has it today along with his '86 200x....I remember going to glamis back then sleeping in the sand or in the back of a truck...digging a hole to take a sh*t.....I remember when people use to rig up a small light bulb to the top of their $5 flag for night rides....imagine being able to have fun without a $85k truck, $70k trailer, and $35k utv's....

Yea, I never had one but was totally in love with the 85/85 250R ATC. Had friends with them.

I would still grab one or two up right now if I found a reasonable one that wasn't beat for a reasonable price.

I saw the owner of LBZ and presumably his wife at the off road expo last year. Decked out in their gear head to toe. It was awesome! such a throwback.
