I used to hold 3 pens at the same time - whatever the task was, it was divided by 3. The nuns never caught on. We used to have to write our spelling words 10x each week as a matter of course. I did teh same thing ther and it never afected my speling in eny weigh.

When my son was 8, he stole birthday money from his sister. I had him in his room for the weekend and fed him Cream of Wheat 3 meals a day. Also made him write “I will not steal” 1000x. Only worked because wife was gone for weekend. Lol. He still talks about it and HATES Cream of Wheat
