hey guys I’m looking for a set of front bucket seats to replace my bench seat on my 79 20ft Spectra. I’m located in the Long Beach area. Any leads would help. Thanks

Thanks. Picked up the orange 79 Spectra out in Ft Mojave that was in Craigslist and then cruised by Eliminator boats on the way home and picked up the seats from Jose. Now the fun begins. Get rid of the bench install all new carpet and have front and rear seats upholstered the same. Again thanks for hooking me up with Jose.

Will do. In the process of tearing out 40years of bad wiring and bringing it all up to date. Have an appointment for the first week in January for complete upholstery job. Love this boat and I’m really glad I got it.

Here’s a few pics of the progress. Rewired the entire trailer and installed all new lights. Every connection was heat shrunk. Made all new side panels with recessed storage and drink holders. LED lights in bottoms of cup holders and usb chargers. All new floor boards 1/2 inch ply and West Systems on all the wood. Had to make a new rear bench as well. Old one was rotted out. No sense in reupholstering old crap. Refinished the teak wood slats on engine hatch. 8 coats of Awl Grip marine varnish sanded between coats. You can see yourself in the varnish. Should be getting everything together in the next two weeks. I’ll post more pics when seats are in

Interior is finally done and installed. Mondos upholstery in San Pedro did an amazing job and I’d highly recommend him

Finally got the boat up to Parker to see how she would run. Had a full tank of two year old gas in her so the plan was to burn the fuel and put some new fuel, filter and plugs in and enjoy the boat. At a quarter tank of fuel I sucked up a bag in my water intake and smoked the motor. Long story short, Tim over at Dirty Deeds in Parker did me right. His boys dropped a new Mercruiser EFIi motor in with wet exhaust out the back and now we’ve got a 60 plus mph boat and I’m going to experiment with different props to see if we can squeeze a little more out of it. Honestly it’s fast enough for what we’re doing and sounds amazing. I can’t say enough great things about Tim and his crew over at Deeds. Solid people

The boat looks great! I am headed to Parker for the first time with my Spectra this Thursday, really excited to run her up there.
