Buddy's Vdrive Rollbar Boat Making Noise

[Echo Lodge]

Buddy's Rollbar Boat with 560 hours makes this noise at low RPM in forward gear. Any ideas?

I thought I saw someone with the same issue with their wakeboard boat. I believe they ended up driving it to the middle of Lake Havasu and pulled the drain plugs..

Yes, shifts fine and noise goes away with increased RPM.

Check the oil mine just blew a head gasket and sounded just like that. hopefully that is not your problem as well.

change all oils and replace impeller and RUN the shit out of it...

PS, mine has same clicking sound at much lower sound..

Change oil, cut open the filter. Look for metal sparkle and shavings. Could be a rod bering, bearing cap, or as simple as a collapsed hydrolic lifter. do not run it again under load until you know the problem.
