BUDMAN’s Breakfast Run

We did this run last year and we had a total of 6-7 boats. You have to start somewhere. Some people (chickens) drove down and had breakfast. Anyways , I’m trying to do it again this year weather permitting. Dec 5th the weekend of the parade of lights. We meet up at the bouy line at Thompson @9:30 and cruise down to the springs for breakfast. Depending how many people we commit to going I’ll try to call ahead to the springs and make arrangements for us. Again weather permitted. Can you tell she hates the cold

If my boat had its motor back in it I would be so down for this! I’m gettin a whole rebuild. Have to go get my boat on Saturday since machine shops are taking long then expected.

Thanks to all that made it. We had 6 boats total run down to the springs for breakfast. Had a couple that couldn’t make it and a couple who chickened out in the end and decided to drive to the springs. Not going to lie it was cold, but I had a great time. We all cruised at various speeds, but at times with the perfect water conditions and cool temperatures we pushed it to see how quick the ol’girl would run. Dave petty aka @ petty cash was the quickest leaving 10 minutes after us and still being the first one to the springs. Thanks for coming out dave. Joe @OldSchoolBoats shockwave looked beautiful throwing a rooster as he blew right by me. Thank Joe. Justin aka Positive Trim aka @BeerMaker Howard bullet was bouncing off the rev limiter wanting a bigger prop for the perfect water conditions. @jefftows took the I’ll just cruise down the lake and I’ll get there when I get there attitude (still beat me to the springs) If you guys haven’t met Jeff and his family, do yourself a favor the next opportunity you have. One of the greatest families

and most genuine people you could meet. Between the boats making the run and others driving, we filled the springs dining area. I think all who attended had a great time and thank to everyone who made it to BUDMANs Breakfast Run. See you on the water
