That is bad assery right there!

Off track yet relevant here. Pardon the pun, but I’m always blown away how small the business end of the block is relative to the assembly.

- Pan is 1/3 height of block
- Heads + valve covers and those tall(!) breathers, say equal
- Chiller + Detroit huffer >
- carbs and if it had an arrestor or even scoop, < or > depending on size

It’s early, needed something to ponder.

My evolution of engines over the years. The 871 motor I built myself for my first jet boat. The DCB came with a Teague motor with a 1471, I ultimately upgraded it to a Boostpower motor with a 8.3 whipple.

Dressing with Eddie marine manifolds and air cleaner. Jet boat motor customer supplied

8100 vortec 496ho (metric big block) - miss this motor- for a big family boat they put down the miles per smile

Marine power versions were cool no lame Mercury water pump air tube mess

I spy a blue print bbc ? Bad ass work
Yep! My timeline doesn’t work for a new build, we’ll worry about that next year. BP 632, changing cam and springs, should hold 7psi without going nuclear on good fuel. I’ve owned the motor for a few years, it’s been in the crate the whole time.

The hardest part is moving the ecu
The outdrive motor bellhousing is short
The jet bellhousing is long

Teague motor is a 572 in an ultra 21 stealth jet
Just put that in for comparison sake

i heard the rod angle was a little extreme in 632's, or something like that.......540 might be better for longevity.

Some bad-azz stuff on this thread! Not sure my junk is worthy, but built this last winter for the asphalt hotrod. Pretty basic stuff; 400-468” BB Mopar. TF270 heads. Custom solid roller by Howard’s. Approx. 650hp motivational speaker for a mid 10’s ProBracket car.
