What's the deal with this boat? It looks like a knock off commander. Anyone have any info on these as I have been unable to find much of anything.

Google Skagenboats.com and ask Tony, his Dad moved quite a few of them.

That top deck looks like a 21 Team Hawaiian. The was the window slopes down into the gunnel is identical.

There was an article in Hot Boat about boat manufacturers, I think California cool was built by Stan Moskaw who also built Crusader Boats.

Then there's this, post #5 by RiverDad:

http://www.performanceboats.com/jet-boats/275713-just-bought-my-first-jet-boat.html

I'll see if I can fin the magazine to double check.

Hot Boat July 2007 List of performance boat builders. California Cool built by Stan Moskwa after he was done with Crusader, 1980's.

If everything is clean and in good condition, tell him to start about $8500.

I think Carl Koster was involved with California Cool as well.

It's a 21' open bow day cruiser. There are thousands built by almost every manufacturer in the 90's. I'd look at comparable examples of just about any manufacturer and then knock off about 1G due to the obscure (at least not to the masses) manufacturer as well as having an OMC drive train (Not saying there is really anything wrong with the OMC, they just do not sell or have the appeal as a Merc package does).
