Alright guys, need some advice (again), its no secret I have zero skills with electricity so I'm reaching out the the RDP team:

Laundry room exhaust fan in the ceiling- turns on and off fine (from the wall switch), if its left on for over 5 minutes, it wont shut off. I have to unplug it from the fan in the ceiling.
Wait a bit, plug it back in, works fine, if it runs a bit, it wont shut off.

Is it the fan itself and needs replacing? maybe it heats up and a relay or somthing fails?

As always, thanks in advance for the advice.

I would replace the switch. If the switch is open it can not run.

should be simple 115v fan. no electron flow to motor wont run, are there two switches for lights and fan or seperate, if single switch to fan would have to be switch.

If it’s a standard switch change it out. Check wiring while your in the box for any damage.
