Must be nice to be in a county or zoning area that's current with owner's needs and desires.
When we rebuilt here in SD County after the 07' fire, the planners had a fit when my plans showed over 1,000 SF of garage. I got away with 1,200 only because I showed proof I had that much prior, so they grandfathered me (Of course that extra was an unpermitted addition -- F-Em, lol.)
I asked why they cared, it's all tucked under my house anyway (Like the one above) --- Their objections seemed to be more about how many (Insert particular race here ________) families I could rent the space out to as living quarters. I could however build as many separate 1K SF garages as my property would accommodate. So what would have been the garage man cave area had to be firewall separated and called a bonus room, of course the bonus room had to have two sets of doors to the garage in case somebody slept there --- so now it's a bedroom ??? Of course we built the 2nd required door in a manner that allowed easy removal after the final, so you can't tell it was ever there --- Damn man, the ridiculous shit these county engineer planners come up with and reasons just drives you/me nuts.
So because a certain racial demographic has been known to house 2 or 3 generations in a garage, I'm limited on garage SF.
This despite being on 3/4 acre. I'd build a separate garage, but the huge required setbacks and reserve septic field won't allow it.

That's the first thing I thought. When we bought out here we looked at a couple homes like that, I was all in, wife said hell no.

Thats a lot for the money.
That is screaming for solar, now is the time to do it right. We can still hide most all in the walls with little extra work for you.

Very nice. I’d have to sell everything that would go in the garages to come close.
Someone is gonna get a nice pad.

Nice pad. [emoji106]. Seems cheap relatively speaking. That shower is crazy.

Cool pad.
But I’m over Railroad Canyon and Newport ave traffic, hence why I’m moving from that area.

I’d have to rip out of of the stairs and put in an escalator or an elevator, laundry ( Washer and dryer )would have to be on every floor

I guess a high speed chair lift would work !

For an extra cost an elevator is possible.
Secondary laundry facilities in garage again thinking of the RV’er.
Hell for an extra cost about anything is possible. Love it or not it’s about to be a bad ass pad.
