You have to realize they are playing tug of war at the extremes. Everyone is aware that the majority of the country is center left or center right. That is not how it is portrayed, but that is the reality.

If you stand up and scream for extreme positions, both sides but settle for a left or right leaning outcome as a "bargain" instead of the loud extremes, you are still inching your direction. That is the long game.

Now what I think will happen is that at some point in this generation or next, a 3rd party will gain traction and reset the game. You can't have both parties at extremes, and going further and further into the fringes.. people will wake up eventually.

Eventually Millennials will age out and start sliding more conservative.. it is already starting to happen. They are programmed that Orange Man Bad and Republicans are racist, but if they are given a centerist party choice, most will choose it.

The loudest voices are being heard above the more quiet majority. The loudest one in the fight, most times is gone when the blows are thrown, or the first to be made quiet.
All three of my kids are fairly decent with the care and use of firearms...as I think they are tools they might need in their lifetimes. I fear more for their safety and future, than I do for mine. It was the POS mayor of the city of Pittsburgh that proposed something crazy. In the inner city parts of Allegheny county it is fucked (bleeding hearts, gangs, crime, killings, etc) but trust me when i say only 12-15 miles around out of downtown (where i live) it gets rural REALLY quick and that shit doesn’t spill out too often. And the political views are 90 percent opposite.

Most schools are still closed on the first day of rifle deer season.

And i agree media outlets are just of hand. They manufacture dramatic events just with words especially with the weather reports. In 3 hours the grocery stores here are wiped out clean of milk, bread and toilet paper as soon as they say “polar vortex” or “flash freeze”. The newest ones are reporting “road temperature” and today it was “code orange alert” for some air quality bullshit. It was 62 degrees and sunny lol. They closed the whole state down a couple weeks ago for some storm that never came.....

Guy looked at me like I got 3 heads, and I'm sure he didn't give it 1 minute more of thought and wrote it off as I must be a crazy Trump supporter instead of using his brain to see what's actually going on instead of blindly believing what they've been told is going on.

Dems plan is to keep em stupid, fat, and preoccupied so they can control everything as they see fit though fake narratives they make up to support their optics. This is why Dems are ok with double standards. The homeless problem in LA was there long before Trump. The lefties say that most of them have mental illness issues. They neglect to say anything about the drug problems. Is one connected to the other? Chicken or egg?
