They have been running this ad for the last week with other SB ads. The Bud commercial with the Clydesdale foal is pretty good.![]()
Ha Ha. I drink Coors. But I like Buds SB Commercials with the Clydesdales.
I used to love the chilli dogs at the old Carl's.Those original commercials were great. Here’s a vin. My Dad knew Carl Karcher. Carl’s original stand was near my Dad’s business. I’d go there with my Dad on some weekends. Great burgers, but my fav were the tamales. Although, I doubt if Carl or his wife made them.
First that burger looks pretty tasty. Wish the CJ’s near us was good. Quality no bueno there. You peeps are slipping, surprised vin isn’t already on this
She's hot and the ad doesn't have amplified eating noises - I give it
The eating noises in the other ads make me want to throat punch people![]()
During the Depression my Dad lived in So Central LA. So did Carl Karcher and his wife. My Dad told us about Carl and his wife pushing a cart through the neighborhood, selling hot dogs. He said they used day old buns to help keep their cost down.I used to love the chilli dogs at the old Carl's.
Have you seen them lately? They have been remodeling their locations and they no longer look like old McDonalds locations.…Something about Carl’s drives me away… I think I’m only had a burger there once maybe 40 years ago… Maybe it’s their places just don’t have curbside appeal… What am I missing???…
I think it depends on what location you go to and that applies to most fast food chains. Burger King actually puts out a decent burger if you go to one that the employees care about the quality but the one in Downey pretty much gives you a do it yourself kit. Literally they just throw the ingredients in the bag . On the other hand I’ve been to some where the burger looks like it was prepped for a commercial.Have you seen them lately? Still hasn't helped their food look appealing in real life. Their burgers look good on tv but when you actually order one its been run over by a steamroller and you can't see anything but bun.
The only place I know where the food looks like the commercial is In N Out. They don't deserve to be lumped in with other fast food places. They are good food, fast.I think it depends on what location you go to and that applies to most fast food chains. … That pretty much describes the Burger I had 40 years ago… Didn’t look good and really had no taste…Have you seen them lately? They have been remodeling their locations and they no longer look like old McDonalds locations.

… There is a Burger King maybe a half mile from me…sort of in the front of the parking lot of Home Depot in North Hollywood… I have been going there off and on since it opened, maybe 35 years ago… the burgers are always good as well as the fries…The window people are always super nice… but the people who take your orders are at times hard to understand???…I think it depends on what location you go to and that applies to most fast food chains. Karcher Insulation used to, don't know about now. Worked on a job in Riverside with some of them back in early 90s.Anyone on here know if Karcher Interior systems, Karcher Insulation, and Karcher Environmental have ties to Carl's?
