Was about to install my cement board on the floor and I noticed that during my demo phase I must have got to aggressive and broke the flange that holds the T bolts.

What’s the best fix / kit to repair this?

Thanks!!

If you have enough good meat this works. If you are really lucky like I was in my house master.... then no. I had to break out the old flange and then do a different style replacement that basically clamps in place.. Total pain in the butt.

Total PITA for me in my parents master.

Wasn’t happy with the replacement kits that fit over the original flange. Wasted a bunch of time trying to retrofit vs. cutting out the old setup and installing new pipe/flange.

Should of done that from the start!

Seems like I should just demo it out and use one of the plastic expansion closet flange as an replacement.

The whole cast iron flange is falling apart.

I have found that old plumbing goes from bad to worse real quick. I usually try and do it myself and if I can't fix it in half a day then I call in a plumber.

F-me if it’s only $200 jump on that!
Don't quote me on that price LOL .
I'm just figuring it's maybe a 2 hour job 100 an hour.
Had basically the same thing done and the toilet installed for about 275.00
Pretty sure he used an ABS flange instead of the cast iron

$100 and hour. Where in Mexico. Illegals off the corner want 25 cash up here in the Bay Area . Minimum time and travel time at 180 to 250 an hr plus parts Is typical around here.
