I don't know much about repairing electrical issues with boats so wanted to post this here. How difficult is it to troubleshoot and repair cavitation plate motors? Interested in possibly picking up a boat but the cavitation plate motor is non-operable. On a v-drive this seems to be a very important link in the performance if it is stationary and non-adjustable. Isn't this the sole source of trim? Sorry for the dumb questions. I have never owned a V-Drive. Any info is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance guys
