I know it’s kind of late notice, but the bmx track we are racing at this weekend hasn’t been very helpful with the RV situation. So looking for input at hotels around the area or even better an rv park or place to camp at for Friday to Sunday. If we do the rv thing I would rather not dry camp due to it’s freaking hot as shit in Phx and the generator would have to run the whole time. The race track is on McQueen and fry Thanks

There’s a Hilton garden inn in down town chandler. I’d stay with a higher end hotel. Nothing budget or extended stay, they get a lot a bit methy.

Not sure how the RV park scene is. You could call wild horse pass raceway and see if they have anything. There’s no attractions in that area that draws people withRVs they don’t live out of

There;s an RV park at Arizona Av. and Knox behind the Budget rental place not far from the track. Not sure the availability but there's one there.

Its so hot out here right now that I am not sure an RV with full hookups is really what I would want to do regardless... So if you decide to do the hotel thing, drive directly west on Fry and go straight on past downtown Chander until you hit the Chander Mall area on Fry and Price. That area is probably only 4-5 miles from the track. There are several good hotels in that area with lots of restaurants etc... Downtown Chandler is great for food and bars, but not for hotels per se. If you have a bike trailer or something small to medium size that you are concerned and need to stash away after the races, I have RV parking on my side yard you are free to use. I am only a couple more miles past the Chandler Mall. That would keep you within 10 miles of the track for everything.

The only place I think you will be able to do RV camping with full hook up is going to be out in the East Mesa/Apache Junction area. Stay close to the 202 if you go that route and you will be about 30-60 minutes from the track depending on where you end up.

Never thought I would see someone post on this site what I have been trying to figure out. They are being useless when it comes to RV. We are trying to figure where to stay as well with our RV.

So here is my un-educated, never done this before suggestion. There are KOAs and other parks in the East Mesa Area. The closer you get to the 202 the quicker you will get to the track. You are looking at a 30-45 minute drive one way, but the access to the track and RV park won't be difficult at all.

I just randomly picked a place called Campground USA out in mesa, its about 30 plus minutes....

More central Mesa has some nicer RV parks as well that will get you closer. My grandparents stay here when they visit us and it's only about 20 minutes from the track.

I looked at that one. But it says 55+ when you try to book online. I guess I’ll just be getting a hotel for now. Thanks for the help guys

Ah, that explains the smattering of dirty looks I have received when visiting my grandparents.

On the hotel route, Crowne Plaza San Marcos is the nicest one that is close, in a pretty good spot for dinner and drinks in downtown chandler.
