Does your gelcoat have the virus?
Far out man!far out man!!
I don't take shrooms so I don't get it.
Very coolFar out man!
Anyone that uses that term is ok in my book
Your boats color work is 1/2 way complete as of this evening.
While walking around bored waiting for gel to dry I noticed these and got a couple of pics.
When a boat is pulled from a mold it creates static electricity.
That’s all grinding dust that was on the mold.
The electricity makes it form these Star shapes.
They look like thorium dendrites in a tungsten substrate.
The electricity makes it form these Star shapes.
Yes!What are we looking at? Another mold?
I saw static shock jump some 10 inches or more off a mold and right to one of the buttons of a pair of Levi buttons n downs...and then it shocks the piss out you....
pretty cool though....
UD
i cant wait for the Dave Cs boat colors and gel Design
I really like the way you thinkSeeing this, and knowing this, could you use an electrical charge to cause gel to not adhere in certain spots? Something akin to the high voltage wood burning designs?
Could be a super bitchen custom thing...
If you ran a single strand, and gave one end a ground, the charge could be guided and manipulated in the setup. At least saving you from crotch shock. I don't know much about the chemical makeup of the gelcoat, but I would assume you could play with loading various amounts of copper oxide or the like into it. For that matter, if a ferrous (I believe) metal powder was used, I would think a magnetic field could also be used to some effect.I really like the way you think
However, lol.
I’m not sure I’d want to be around when the electrical charge hits.
I’m thinking it would BNAG!
