Got it.

Still lame IMHO. If someone said..

Ford built this Awesome new engine, and ONE survived 200 Dyno pulls, but has no real world testing yet?

You Chebby guys would laugh and laugh.

The end. šŸ˜
How many Chevy crate motors are in older/late model Ford's? Asking for a friend :)

A dyno (at least the ones GM has) can be set up to simulate conditions. We had 3 brake dynos at Stoptech and using acquired data from the track, we could duplicate on-track conditions and effectively see what the brakes would do lap after lap. Thatā€™s a ā€œsimulatedā€ run.

Settle down over there...

Or I'll come stomp on yer foot! šŸ˜

Pontiac heads for big block chevy have been symmetrical since 1983 I believe.
they look like 8.1/496 heads, so maybe they got them from Raylar.
Definately not Raylar, looks like Chevrolet Performance finally developed a symmetrical port head of their own, or as Riverbottom said maybe they leveraged some of GM's other aftermaket designs

Seems pretty straight forward

They built a new Crate motor that made 1004HP on the dyno.

The motor was durability tested thru 200 simulated drag strip passes (simulated because it didnā€™t happen in a car going down the strip - I.e - engine dyno time)

Itā€™s brand new and hasnā€™t hit the market yet so there arenā€™t any in cars.

Whatā€™s the drama? Lol

Hate hate hate hate šŸ˜‚

Those heads are the same as my 496 except for the front water passage
