Their concern (which is a lie) is the 8 “unarmed blacks” killed in 2019 by LEO nationwide...not the thousands upon thousands of blacks killed by other blacks...or the roughly 50% of all abortions being black, even though blacks only make up roughly 14% of the population.
In NYC black abortions consistently outnumber black births on an annual basis, with around 24,000 black abortions yearly in the city alone.

St Louis historically lands #1 for violent crime rate, while even with its mountains of bodies Chicago is rarely if ever top 10.

There's a guy that could make a difference in Chicago if Mayor Lightfoot and her minions would allow it to happen.

David Brown, the Chicago Police Supervisor (the chief) was hired about eight months ago to run the Chicago PD. Before he took the gig, he had been the chief in Dallas for six years. He had been a DPD cop for 22 years.

Brown had retired from the DPD in 2018. During his tenure in Dallas, murders and other violent crime had been successfully reduced. The Big Thing? He had the respect of the entire police force, and the guys at the sharp end knew he had their back. The citizens saw a man that wasn't afraid to stand in front of the cameras and tell them the truth. The criminals knew he was coming for them. The man stood tall and his integrity was unquestionable.

I don't know what made him decide to take the job in Chicago. He was only 55 when he retired from the DPD, and maybe the challenge of going to Chicago was attractive.

But having to deal with the moron Lightfoot, her decisions to let the criminals go free and her edicts that keep him from doing his job must be frustrating as hell.
